Here is a photo showing the size and strength of the standing rigging.
Odyssey was designed and built for serious ocean racing and cruising.
She has extremely strong oversized rigging for ocean racing. All of the
turnbuckles and fittings appear to be in excellent condition. This boat
is truly built for speed and safety at sea. All of her fittings and lifelines
are extra heavy and extra strong. All of her winches are oversized and
in perfect working order. She will take you wherever you want to go with
speed and comfort.
On the port side just ahead of the galley is this delightful dining area.
Nicely thought out interior and beautiful joinery. Her tanks carry forty-five
gallons of diesel and two hundred and ten gallons of water. In addition
there are port and starboard interlinked water tanks for ocean racing ballast.
This is a very serious ocean going boat.
Nice galley just aft of the dinette. Propane gas range with lots of counter
space and a nice deep sink make this galley comfortable at sea as well
as in the anchorage. Very well organized with plenty of space for your
dishes and pots. This is a very serious galley for a very serious boat!
Are you a serious sailor?
And just have a look at this navigation station with the full size chart
table! Imagine yourself here laying out all of your courses for all of
the exotic islands of the Caribbean Sea! Real convenient location as well
on the starboard side just at the bottom of the companionway steps. This
is a very practical boat just waiting for a very practical captain!
Along the port side and looking aft we have the galley and we can see the
comfortable companionway steps. Notice how bright it is and with plenty
of ventilation. Plenty of storage as well. One could not help being proud
of this boat! Wherever you want to go, Luperòn in the Dominican Republic
is a great place to start sailing from...
