The last series of nine photos are mainly of the main cabin, galley and
head showing the shower. There is pressure water but the pump needs to
be replaced. I believe that the previous owner said it was a "Water
Puppy" pump or some name such as that. The last three photos I took
as I was heading for my office. Tropical Delight needs some effort and
some TLC but she is going to be well worth any efforts put forth. She is
a very beautiful yacht.
- SECOND BATCH -
The first three photos of the second batch are still of the aft cabin and
showing the starboard berth, the locker just at the cabin door and the
small chart table. The past owner tells me that there was an aft cabin
head in this space and he removed the head to install this nav station.
In the following two photos we have now moved into the main cabin and raised
one of the floor hatches. There is a small amount of standing water because
of the dead batteries. I check the boat on a regular basis for water but
there has been no water problems. The next photo is of the manual anchor
winch and showing the forward deck. The bowsprit and all of the brightwork
needs to be sanded and varnished. The rest of this series are pretty well
self explanatory as I just started forward taking photos and moved aft.
The outboard motor is missing it's cover. The dinghy needs a good cleaning
now.

This is a page of updated photos of "Tropical Delight" taken
the morning of July 08, 2006 and the photos depict her condition as of
that date. In the first eight photos I have tried to show the deteriorated
varnish which needs attention. The gel coat is actually in very good condition
but needs buffing and waxing. The three photos that follow are of the engine
compartment. Excellent working conditions around this engine. Lots of space
with tremendous access. The batteries need to be replaced. The fuel, at
this point, should be changed because of sitting for a year. The photo
following the engine compartment shows some deterioration of one corner
of a bulkhead on the port side of the cockpit. The next four photos in
this first batch are of the aft cabin. On the port side is a large double
berth and a regular berth on the starboard side. Click on any photo for
an expanded view.
